Amendment I

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The first amendment of the United States is one of the most important of them. The freedom of religion states that any individual may follow an religion they choose to. The freedom of speech allows individuals to say what ever they want about the government with out any worry that they will be punished.

This video displays how people still today try to argue against the First Amendment and take away a person's freedom to protest and have his or her own thoughts.
